EZbra® is a patented, single-use breast dressing designed to provide exceptional support and comfort following breast surgeries. It's more than just a dressing; it's a carefully engineered solution that addresses the unique needs of patients during a challenging time.
Design and Functionality
The EZbra® is designed to wrap any breast shape, even in cases of extreme asymmetry. Its multi-layered elastic construction offers a combination of wound management and post-operative support, similar to a post-op binder. Key features include:
Support and Stabilization: EZbra® helps stabilize implants and drains, crucial for proper healing and aesthetic outcomes; Compression: The integrated compression bands provide controlled compression, aiding in reducing swelling and promoting healing; Absorption: The highly absorbent materials manage wound drainage, minimizing the need for frequent dressing changes and enhancing patient comfort; Easy Application: EZbra's design simplifies the dressing process, promoting patient independence; esthetics: Beyond its functional benefits, EZbra® is designed to help patients feel more feminine and comfortable during recovery.
Material Matters
EZbra® is constructed from five types of biocompatible materials, commonly used in hygiene products. These materials are carefully selected for their specific properties:
Perforated Film: A 22.5 GSM vacuum-formed PE sheet is used for the top-sheet (wound contact layer). This material offers superior fluid management. It is made of 95% PE, 1% fimetional master batch, and 4% white master batch. Biocompatibility tests confirm that the perforated film is non-cytotoxic and does not cause skin sensitization. Spun lace and Elastic Non-woven: Biocompatibility tests show that it is non-cytotoxic, does not cause skin irritation or sensitization. Hook Fastener: The nonwoven hook fastener, made of PP + Titanium Dioxide, is used for secure closure. Adhesive: A polyurethane-based adhesive laminates the hook components to the elastic nonwoven, creating the side closures. The adhesive is used to laminate the Hooks, to Elastic nonwoven, to make side closure A + B components.
Manufacturing and Quality
The EZbra® components are die-cut and assembled using RF/HF joining techniques. The final product is a sterile, single-use device. EZbra® has a 3-year shelf life.
Empowering Recovery
EZbra® is more than a medical device; it's a solution designed to empower women during their recovery journey. By combining innovative design, carefully selected materials, and a focus on patient needs, EZbra® provides comfort, support, and confidence when it's needed most.
